COST OF MERSEY TUNNEL.
In the Saturday edition of your paper, find that an error has crept in, in the letter of mine on the subject of "A Harbour Bridge, Or a Tunnel," and I shall be grateful if you will kindly correct the same. In the first paragraph of the letter the cost of the Mersey Tunnel between Liverpool and Birkenhead should read "eight million pounds sterling and not "six millions" as printed. THOMAS A. F. STONE.
