SUBURBAN RAILWAY SERVICES.
May I have a little space in which to endorse Mr. Vaile's remarks re our railways? I live at New Lynn, but I am thirty minutes longer getting to and from my home than was eighteen years ago. This is mostly due to rotten time-tables, for which privilege I pay an extra ninepence per week. There are scores up this line in the same position. The Department got us out here with promises ot a good service and cheap fares. We g° fc neither. It is time we got that service or room made for a better and quicker road service. WORiKEiR.
