NAVY LEAGUE.
The girls' branch of the Navy League inaugurated > a uperie-s of programmes recently, in the interests of their winter work for the Navy League.
For tlio first of these Miss Margaret A. Parker gave a talk 011 a trip into the interior of Southern Mexico from notes and photographs taken by her brother, Air. W. Leonard Parker, 8.E., who for some years lias been engineering for British oil interests in Mexico. The speaker also gave a preliminary sketch of ancient Mexican history, from the invasions of the Toltees, the Cliicliimecs and £he Aztecs, whoso wonderful architecture is still to be traced in the hidden ruins in Mexican forests. At the conclusion of the talk mah jong and bridge were played. Among those present were:—Mrs. Shera (hostess), Miss Cashin (vice-cliairwoman), Miss Ann Kelly (vice-president), Misses Hood, E. Cashin, IC. Brown, M. Smyth, J. Smyth, S. Mackay, E. Williams, B. Roberts, J. Kobers, E. Northwood, E. Blakey, E. Hawk'e.
