AFTER FIFTY YEARS.
SHIPMATES' REUNION.
A reunion was held yesterday of passengers who arrived by the full-rigged four-masted ship Northumberland 50 years ago. Arrangements were in the hands of Mr. R. A. Dowell, one of the passengers, and there was a representative muster at the luncheon. The Northumberland, under the command of Captain Todd, made the trip from Dover, where she had put in after leaving London a week earlier, in 93 days, arriving at Auckland on March 18, ISB4.
