ERIDGE AFTERNOON. A most successful bridge afternoon was lickl by the Victoria League books for hackhlocks coinmittce yesterday afternoon, in order to gather in funds for postage and other expenses in connection with sending parcels of books, magazines and papers to backblocks settlers, schools and camps. Miss Mowbray, president, and Miss Fenton, chairman of the books committee, received the guests. Mrs. W. Johnston acted as convener, and Mrs. St. Clair Inglis and othor members of the books committee assisted.
