LOANS CONVERSION.
FRANKLIN POWER BOARD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOIIE, Wednesday. The Franklin Electric Power Board have converted their loans totalling £266,400. The debentures, which bear interest at 4i per cent, have been fully taker, up. The secretary, Mr.. S. P. Day, said today that in every -ease, tlie debenture,hoiders had willingly consented to the proposals, and the result was particularly satisfactory.
