ALLOCATION OF MONET. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Tlie manner in which the Carnegie Corporation's grant of 12,500 dollars in the current year for adult education work is to be expended has been the subject of inquiry. Professor T. E. Hunter, vice-e|Lan-cellor of the New Zealand University, stated to-night that the question of allocating money was one for the board recently set up to decide. The special grants given to Canterbury University College and Otago University would not, however, be interfered with.
