PATIENT'S CLAIM.
DENTIST AND DOCTOR SUED. BURNS TO FEET ALLEGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON, this day. A case of interest to the .medical and dental professions was heard in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when a claim was made for £42 damages for injuries which plaintiff. John M. Archer, allegedly suffered while under an anaesthetic for the extraction of a number of teeth. It was alleged by plaintiff that he had his feet burnt by a hot water bottle. Defendants were Peter Basil Colyin, dentist, and J. C. Forsyth, medical practitioner. The latter administered the anaesthetic only. 'Lengthy evidence was heard as to the responsibility of the doctor and of the dentist for the patient's condition. Decision was reserved.
