ROYAL SHOW.
GRIGG MEMORIAL CUP. Tho jubilee this year of the importation of Friesian cattle into New Zealand will be marked by tire' presentation at the forthcoming Royal Show of a eilver challenge cup for competition. It ban been presented by the council and branches of the New Zealand Friesian Association. The late Mr. John Grigg, whose farm in Canterbury wae considered one of the finest in the world, introduced Friesian cattle to New Zealand 50 years ago, and the cup will be appropriately called the Grigg Memorial Cup. It will be for competition in ]the Friesian breeders' group at each Royal Show and a miniature will be presented to the breeder of the winning entry.
