SMASH OF BOTTLES.

COLLISION IN QUEEN STREET. Assorted bottles of sofe drinks, some smashed, some whole, any many shattered soda water syphons were scattered on the road at the intersection of Queen Street and Fort Street at 8 o'clock this morning, after a lorry owned by Grey and Menzies, Ltd., had come into collision with another lorry. Grey and Menzies' lorry, laden with bottles of soft drinks, wae turning from Queen Street into Fort Street, while the other was coming up Queen Street, when the two met at the corner. Neither was . damaged, but until it was ewept up, the ; litter of broken gla?s was a menace to \ the tyres of other cars.
