TWO MEN CONVICTED.
GUILTY OF RECEIVING. Acting on the advice of Mr. Justice Smith, a jury at the Supreme Court yesterday returned a verdict of not guilty in a case in which Frederick Rex Webster, aged 25, labourer, and John Patrick Bryant, 27, motor mechanic, were charged \Yith breaking and entering the dwelling of Harry Woods in Hobson Street and stealing various articles valued at £37 8/6. On a second charge of receiving the articles, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained, a verdict of guilty was returned, and. prisoners were remanded for sentence.
