PIECEWORK.
CANTERBURY OBJECTION. APPEAL TO LABOUR PARTY. (By 'Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. As the result of a proposal to introduce piecework on the Ashley River relief job 011 Monday the following telegram has been xent to the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. H. 13. Holland: "Rangiora relief river workers look to Labour party to oppose introduction of piecework on relief works." A mass meeting will be held in the city to-morrow to discuss the proposal.
