Polydora Wins Chief Flat Event —The Masquerader the Guineas — Mobile Takes the Sprint.
Favoured with perfect weather, the Dunedin Jockey Club concluded their spring meeting at Wingatui 1:o-day. There was a large attendance, and the warm sun, during the early morning, improved the going, which was fast, compared with Thursday. Polydora won the Ranfurly Handicap, the chief flat event of the day, while The Masquerader annexed the Dunedin Guineas from Silvox and Fracas. Mobile was successful in the chief sprint— the Shorts Handicap.
