CRICKET.
AVONDALE CLUB,
At the annual meeting of the Arondalo Cricket Club Mr. R. Blennerhassett presided over a good attendance. Tho report and balance-sheet showed the club to be in a sound financial position. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Dr. R. Warnock; president, Mr. C. H. Herdson ; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. A. l< , . Maxwell, W. Jamieson, A. Kirby, A. Bollard, Bannister, E. It. Tdney; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Allen; management committee. Messrs. J. Webb, M. Warren, P. Morrish ; auditor. Mr. .T. Crawford ; delegate to association, Mr. J. Webb. It was decided to enter two teams in the Suburban Cricket Association's competitions.
