WHEAT CARGOES, ETC. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 31. Cargoes are steadier, with sellers of Canadian 6d higher. Australian Plates, however, arc obtainable at late rates. Demand is quiet. Parcels are firm at 3d to 6d dearer for Manitoba*, while Australian and Argentine are also harder, but trading is quiet. Futures: London, September, 21/11 per quarter; December, 23/; February, 23/4; Liverpool, October. 5/2% per cental; December, 5/4%; March, 5/6% d; May, 5/B%d. Spot trade is quiet, with an easier tendency. Australian, ex ship, 25/9 to 2G/6 per quarter. Flour is slow; Australian, ex store, 19/G to 20/ G. Oats, peas and beans are quiet. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. SYDNEY, August 31. Following are to-day's quotations on the Sydney produce market:—Wheat: Market at a standstill. Bagged, nominally 3/3'/z for parcels, bulk 3/2%, but sellers are not pressing. Flour, £10 10/. Bran and pollard, £5. Potatoes: Tasmanian, £6 10/; Victorian, £5 10/. Onions: Victorian, Brown Spanish, to £4 10/. Oaten liar, £7 10/. Maize, yellow and white, 4/4. ADELAIDE, August 31. Adelaide prices are:—Wheat: Growers' lots, 2/10%. Flour: Bakers' lots, £8 10/. Bran and pollard, £5 2/0. Oatfi: Algerian, 2/1. • (Received 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Wheat, in truck lots, 3/3 per bushel, parcels, nominally .3/1 to 3/lVa. Flour is quiet at £8 7/6 per ton. Bran and pollard, steady, £4 15/. Oats arc tending easier at 2/3 per bushel, occasionally 2/4. Barley, nominal; English malting, 2/0 to 2/7; Cape. 2/3 to 2/4; feed, the same. Maize is weak at 4/7. QUOTATIONS FOR METALS.
