FUND TO BE AUDITED

CASH RECEIVED TOTALS £10,231

"The net amount realised by the Prosperity Week campaign fund cannot bo ascertained for several weeks," said the Mayor, Mr. G. W. Hutchison, this morning. "Accounts have to be settled, and a proper balance-sheet prepared and audited. An auditor has been in daily attendance at the campaign offices, but it will take some time before the final audited figures can be available..

"Including to-day's pay-in the cash actually received so far amounts to £10,231, and there are other amounts still to come."

Mr. Hutchison said the first allocation from the funds would be made in the course of the next dav or two.
