BIRKENHEAD BY-ELECTION.
Voting in the by-election to fill the vacancy on the Birkenhead Borough Council, caused by the death of Mr. H. A. Campbell, is in progress to-day. The four candidates are: Messrs. C. Hams, James Prickett, E. J. Sinel and A. C. Stack. Polling commenced at 9 a.m.', and will close at 1 o'clock.
