STAFF SOCIAL.
The Penrith rooms, Karangahape Road, were gaily decorated last evening, when Woolworthe, Limited, gave a successful dance and enjoyable entertainment. Items of vocal, instrumental, humorous recitations and an exhibition of ballroom dancing were rendered by Misses Orchard, T. Creedon, Crompton, Mies Molly Ballantyne and partner. Many novelty dances were thoroughly enjoyed, and included snow ball, streamer, balloon and Monte Carlo. The ladies' committee present were:— Miss Bagery, in parma violet flat crepe; Miss Creedon, pastel pink chiffon; Mise T. Creedon, ciel blue taffeta; Miss McTavish, floral ninon; Miss Vigars, flame georgette. Among those present were:— Mesdames Williams, Storey, Griffiths, Thompson, Misses Scally, Oliver, Brown, Rish, K. Walsh, S. Walsh, Thompson, Roscoe, Shaw (2), Johnson, Graham, Jones, Crooke, Goddard, Wliitty, Devlin, Griggs, Cranwell, Casey, Aston, Patterson, Coleman, King, Tanner, Young, McCauley, Kirk, McGregor, Colwin, Orchard, Healy, Campbell, Flanagan.
