RUSSIAN PRODUCE.
PAID FOR BEFORE EMBARGO. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 17. In the House of Commons the President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Walter Runciman, admitted that certain consignments of Russian timber, butter and poultry recently had been permitted to be landed in Britain under license on the ground that they had been paid for before the embargo came into force.
