WRESTLING.
BLAKE V. WALKER. The first of the . overseas wrestlers to appear in Auckland will be "Whiskers" Blake, a bearded athlete, originally from British Columbia, but who became a Californian resident' and American citizen. Bearded and 6ft Oin tall, weighing he is quite a striking figure in the wrestling ring, and he has had victories against such men as Kruse to testify to his ski'l. Blake will have a very severe test in his first Auckland appearance, as he is matched against George Walker for a bout at the Town Sail on Monday- evening.
