NURSES' TRAINING.
EXAMINATION SUCCESSES. A creditable standard of work was revealed for first and third-year nurses in the examiners- report for the Auckland Hospital nurges' May examination*, which was submitted to yesterday'* meeting of the Hospital Board. The work of second-year candidates was not so good as in previous yeare. Among third-year Nurse A. (jiliillan was placed first, and also gained iirst. place in practical work, with Nuiwc'J. Wliitehousc second. All the candidates obtained over 00 per cent of the marks, while five topued.SO per cent. On the motion of the chairman, Mr, W, Wallace, the gold medal was awarded to/Nufsc ClililTlan, with second prize to Niirse Whitejiouee.
