TWO PEOPLE SCALDED.
BOTH ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL.
A child named Albert Marsden, aged two and a half years, as the result of capsizing a kettle of boiling water on Thursday night at his parents' home, suffered scalds to his chest. The boy, who lives at 26, West View Eoad, Grey Lynn, was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition was stated today to be not serious.
Mrs. Bella McLeod, aged 67, of 7S, Green Lane, Remuera, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from scalds. Mrs. McLeod inadvertently knocked over a pail of boiling hot water and was burnt on both legs. She was taken by the St. John Ambulance to hospital, where her condition was stated to-day to be not serious.
