GOVERNOR RESIGNS.

NEW YORK, April 12,
The Washington correspondent of the "New York Times" states that Mr. Eugene Meyer has resigned his membership and governorship of the Federal Reserve Board. Mr. Meyer informed the President that he wished to return to private business, and President Roosevelt asked him to remain until a successor was chosen.
