MAYORALTY IN DUNEDIN.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. The Rev. E. T. Cox, Methodist minister at Mornington, and formerly of Auckland, is contesting the city Mayoralty, because the City Council reduced its allocation for the unemployed. Another candidate, Mr. C. M. Moss, has also entered the field, making five in all. Two elections ago Mr. Moss stood for Parliament against the Hon. Downie Stewart in Labour interests.
