Disapproved By Socialist Leader. DISCUSSION IN FRANCE. PARIS, April 7. The Socialist leader, M. Blum, in the Chamber of Deputies, said his party disapproved of a four-Powef pact because it introduced oligarchy into international relations. M. Franklin Bouillon said a revision of the treaties meant a spoliation of France's allies. Germany should never be conceded the right to rearm. The Chamber passed a .vote of confidence in the Government by 439 to 107. In London yesterday M. Titulescu, Rumanian Foreign Minister, had an interview with the Prime Minister and Sir John Simon on the subject of the proposed four-Power pact. AUTHOR'S FORTUNE. GALSWORTHY'S ESTATE £88,567 (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, April 7. The late Mr. John Galsworthy, famous British author and playwright, who died at the age of 66 last January, left an estate valued at. £88,567. One of the largest estates left by an author was distributed by Arnold Bennett on a will scribbled on a piece of notepaper. He died in March, 1931, worth over £ 100,000. Probably the greatest literary fortune ever made came to Edgar Wallace, who died in February, 1932, after having amassed about £1,000,000 through his varied writings, film-making and turf activities. On his death, however, it was found that he had spent his entire personal estate while living, leaving assets worth only about £80,000, mainly in racing connections and royalties. He died at the age of 56, from influenza and double pneumonia. John Galsworthy - died on January 31 last, at the age of 66. INDIA WHITE PAPER. SELECT COMMITTEE SET UP.
