AIR LICENSE GAINED.
FIRST TAURANGA PUPIL.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
TAURANGA, this day.
Squadron-Leader L. M. Isitt arrived at the Tauranga aerodrome from Auckland yesterday to test Mr. T. Baikie for a license. Tie candidate was successful in passing the test, and is therefore the first locally-trained pilot to obtain a license. Mr. Baikie recently bought a Spartan 'plane in Auckland, but it requires some slight modification before a certificate of air worthiness can be obtained.
