FIRST ANNUAL MEET. The first annual sports meeting of the Dtahuhu Technical High School was held n the school grounds "n Wednesday and yesterday. The greater part of the programme was decided on Wednesday, but several events were run off on the second lay. The meeting was, without a doubt, in outstanding success, the number ot events creating what must be a secondary school record, the finals alonu numbering Dver 100. Several good times were recorded, and many of the competitors gave promise of some bright performances in the very near future. In the allocation of house points, Hobson House was first with 237 points, Massey House second with 139 points, Rrey House third with 133 points, and Seddon House fourth with 88 points. The boys under 12% championship was won by P. McManus (Hobson), 19 points; T'ohus (Grey). 13 points, being runner-up, rhe under ViYz championship was won by Collins (Seddon), 18 points, with Ayling (Massey) and Burns (Massey), 16 points each, runners-up. The under 14% championship was won by A. McManus (Hpb;on), 25 points, Thornton (Seddon) being second with 11 points. Morley (Hobson), with 37 points, annexed the under lb (senior) championship, the runner-up being O. McManus (Hobson), who secured 26 points. The results are as follows:— BOYS' CHAMPIONSHIPS.
