TRAIN IN TUNNEL.

LIN€ BLOCKED AT MOUTH. RUSHING WATER WARNS DRIVER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OHURA, this day. Torrential rain caused a large slip on the Stratford Main Trunk line between Matiere and Tuliua. The 10 p.m. train from Ohura last night was half-way through a tunnel, when a rush of dirty water and fallen timber caused the driver to stop. Finding the line blocked at the tunnel mouth, he reversed the train and took it back to Matiere. Gangs from the Ohura and Taumarunui ends are clearing the line, but all trains are cancelled for the present. The railway telephone lines are out of action.
