A.J.CT MEETING." CAPTIVATION WINS CHALLENCE ' STAKES. . ■ SYDNEY, January <22. The Australian Jockey Club's anniversary meeting was opened at Randwick yesterday in wet weather, and before a small attendance. The three-year-old Captivation scored a narrow win in the Challenge Stakes, and the New Zealand-bred filly Frimscl won the Widden Handicap. Frimsel is a brown fiiiy by Grand Knight from Rachel, hence o half-sister to Rabbi. She was bred by Mr. J. J, Corry, of Blenheim, and sold last year* to an Australian buyer. J.- Coutts, rider of Tom Pinch in the Challenge Stakes, was held blameworthy for the interference suffered by N.E.F. and was suspended for three months for careless riding.
