Toronto Mayor's Offer to "Red" Agitators.
GO TO RUSSIA. (Received 1.30 p.m.) TORONTO, January 18. As a climax to disorderly scenes* in the Council Chamber when an unemployed delegation cheered for Russia, the Mayor, Mr. Stewart, told the members, "If you know of a better country, go to it!"
.The police were ordered to eject a man who, the Mayor said, was a notorious Communist agitator, and had been in trouble in' three cities previouslj'. When none of the members accepted his offer. of free transportation to Russia, the Mavor ordered the hall to-be cleared.
