Jap. Police Claim Destruction of Communism.
INTELLIGENTSIA FREED.
(Received 10 a.m.) TOKYO, January 18. The police have lifted the ban on Communists. The arrests in October totalled 2000, including judges, professors, and others of the intelligentsia, and a large number of women.'" Many of those arrested of both sexes belonged to prominent families. During last year the metropolitan police seized 7000 suspects. It is now claimed that Communism is destroyed.
