BAKERY BUSINESS.

JUDGMENT AT WHANGAREI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, thie day. Reserved judgment iii the civil action in which Arthur William Dent (Mr. D. L. Ro.=e) sought to recover from Lionel P. Ford, trading as Whangarci Bakeries, Ltd. (Mr. R. K. Trimmer), the eum of £97 7/8 as the difference between the actual amount plaintiff received and the amount he alleged he wae entitled to receive as wages under the award, was delivered in the Magistrate's Court by Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., yesterday.

In delivering judgment, Mr. Morris said Ford had been personally served, but held that the company wae a eeparate entity, and that Ford would have to be served ae managing director of the company before it could be bound by the award.

The magistrate found for defendant, allowing coets amounting to £4 17/.
