FALSE DECLARATION. APPLICATION FOR LICENSE. On a charge of making a false declaration in an application for a motor driver's license, John Heffcrnan was this morning fined £5 and costs by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. Mr. G. H. Hogan, chief traffic inspector, ■who prosecuted, said that defendant had. answered "No" to the question on the application form which asked whether applicant had ever been previously convicted of any offence, arising out of driving a motor vehicle. "In November, 1928," said Mr. Hogan, "defendant was fined £25 and' had hie license cancelled for twelve months on a charge of being drunk in charge of a motor car."
