AMPLE LABOUR.
EAST COAST ACTIVITY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. The Gisborne Sbeepfarmers' Tokomaru Bay freezing works opened this morning with non-union labour, unionists having refused engagement. The company reports that more than sufficient labour is available., Work is proceeding satisfactorily at Kaiti freezing works, the killings averaging over 4000 carcases a duy. Eighty-two slaughtermen are at work, 59 being non-unionists. There is no dearth of applicants.
