Gandhi to Fast Till Death Over Caste Prejudices. CAUSE OF "UNTOUCHABLES." CALCUTTA, November 6. The Indian Nationalist leader, Gandhi, realising that his campaign for. the removal of Hindu caste prejudices against the "untouchables" has been unsuccessful, now threatens to resume his fast until death unless the Hindus implement the agreement recently reached at Poona between representatives of the caste Hindus and the "untouchables."
