TARIFF CHANGES.
BXLIi READY FOR. HOUSE. OTTAWA RESOLUTIONS. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this Hay. To confirm the Ottawa tariff resolutions a Customs Amendment Bill is to bo introduced into the House to-night. It will be accompanied by other Customs resolutions, but it is understood that these have no significance and refer to items of no importance, which it is considered require adjustment. The House devoted this afternoon to the second reading of private members' bills, starting with the Marriage Amendment Bill, introduced by Mr. H. G. R. Mason (Labour, Auckland Suburbs), two Government measures, and the Electoral Amendment BilL The Rent Restriction Bill was introduced and read for the first time.
