UNHAPPY MARRIAGE.

CRAVING FOR AMUSEMENT. An application for the restitution of conjugal rights -was granted at the> Supreme Court this morning by his Honor Mr. Justice Smith in an undefended divorce case. The petitioner was Robert Baden Barclay, motor driver, Auckland, and the respondent Mary Ellen Barclay. Petitioner said they were married in 1927 and had lived happily for 60me time, but then respondent had a craving for amusement and always wanted to be out at nights. He remonstrated with her, but it was useless. Finally, on June 14 last, when he returned home from work, he found a note left by his wife on the kitchen table. She never came back, and though petitioner had written asking her to return she refused to do so. There were no children.
