THAMES COMMITTEE FORMED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. A meeting of citizens which was held in the borough chambers last evening, and over which the Mayor, Mr. S. Ensor, presided, was addressed by Mrs. HurdWood on behalf of the New Zealand League of Hard of Hearing. A committee was appointed as follows:—The Mayor, Father Dignan, the Revs. A. G. Dawson, J. Milne and G. Liversedge, Drs. A. S. Gray, J. B. Liggins and O. S. Hetherington, Mesdames Gray and A. Price, representatives of the Plunket Society and Women's National Reserve, Messrs. C. S. Donovan (R.S.A.) and F. E. McCullough (convener) .
