WATERSIDERS REFUSE WORK.
FROZEN MEAT AT WANGANUI.

(B3- Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Watersidcrs to-day refused a call to work in connection with the loading of lighters with frozen meat for conveyance to the liner Opawa, which was lying in the roadstead. Some 13,000 carcases were to be taken by the ehin from this port. Vessels loading dairy produce and wool are not affected.
