SKID ON LOOSE METAL.

CAR CAPSIZES NEAR BOMBAY,

SEVEN OCCUPANTS CNHUIIT

A large sedan car in which there were seven occupants skidded in the loose metal at a bend on the Great South Road about half a mile from Bombay, late on Sunday night. It shot down "a ateep bank, somersaulting twice. The driver, Mr. H. F. Tucker, of Otahuhu, and the other occupants, who included Mr. Tucker's wife, their four children, ii nd Mrs. M. Morrell, of Epsom, escaped serious injury. AH experienced considerable difficulty in leaving the car, and had to receive assistance from passing motorists.

The car was not seriously damaged, but was abandoned for the night. On returning to it the next day the owner discovered that a number of tools and articles of equipment were stolen. The point at which the mishap occurred has been the subject of numerous complaints by motorists.
