FEEDER AIR LINES.
LINKS IN EMPIRE CHAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 23. Schemes are being advanced for establishing feeder air services to link up with the main Imperial Airways Cairo-Cape-town route. Such auxiliary services as have been already instituted have proved most successful and a network of them is contemplated. An example of the feeder air lines is a coastal one operated by Wilson Airways, linking up Dar-es-Salaani with the Imperial Airways route at Annie, well over 1000 miles. Auxiliary air lines serving a district far removed from the main route are represented by these services.
