TOWN DESTROYED
JAPANESE CONFLAGRATION. TOKYO, October 23. A conflagration, which originated in a cinema at midnight in a town in the Ishikawa prefecture, destroyed 1200 houses. Soldiers assisted the firemen, but their joint efforts were hampered by a severe gale. The town was destroyed in March, 1930, by a similar outbreak.
