ALLEGED THEFT OF TYRE.
TWO YOUNG MEN REMANDED,
Arrested oil Satuvday by Detectives Packman and Wilson,, two young' men, Hector Donald Connolly, and Wallace Dalkeith Morrison, appeared in the Police Court this morning, each charged with stealing, on October 21, a tyre, rim and tube, valued at £1 9/, belonging to Eliza Jane Collins. Mi-. K. C. Aekins, who appeared for accused, asked for bail. Detective-Sergeant Kelly obtained a remand until October 31. "There are circumstances which I cannot yet relate to the Court," lie said. "From previous experience, I think Connolly would be better in custody." Bail was refused.
