WELLINGTON V. HAWKE'S BAY. NAPIER, Saturday. Wellington defeated Hawke's Bay In the two days' cricket match by seven TWcfeets. The Parnell cricket team visited Pukckohe .on Saturday and met the Pukckohe Association's representative team. A feature of the game was the bright batting display given by H. G. Vivian, the International crickcter. Vivan complied 52 In quick time and then retired. McCoy was also in good form, and rattled on 30. Parnell made 161, In reply to Pukekohe's score of 07 (Laurie 27, Rose 23). PUKEKOHE V. HIGH SCHOOL. In a praciice match, Pukekohe 171 runs beat Hieh School 113. Batting for School. Blake 30 and Boyce 30 ton scored, as did Stoupe 58 and Wilkinson 37 for Pukekohe. Some of the batsmen at Pukekohe on Saturday indulged in vigorous batting, for 12 sixes were recorded in the two friendly matches. Playing for Parnell Vivian hit three, McCoy two and Whiteiaw one, while Ross also scored one In the same match. Playing against High School Stoupe liit four sixes, while D.
