VAGRANT SENT TO PRISON. "We have had this man at our home and have tried to help him, but it is of no use," said Staff Captain Holmes, in the Police Court this morning, referring to Percy Ogden, 50, who pleaded guilty to a charge deeming him to be an incorrigible rouge with insufficient means of support. "He eats well and sleeps well, but when he sees a little work in front of him—well, he just trembles." Detective Sergeant McHugh said Ogden had for the past month been hanging about the parks. He Was in a filthy condition and said he could not get anything to eat. Ogden, who had a list of previous convictions, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
