TO LONDON AND BACK.

STOWAWAYS' VOYAGING. IMPRISONED IN ENGLAND. SENTENCED AGAIN IN AUCKLAND. Two "passengers" who reached Auckland from London by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Raranga last evening were met by members of the waterfront police«station. In the Police Court this morning both men pleaded guilty to stowing away on board the Piaranga at London on August 11.

"On arrival in London s they were sentenced to 2S days' imprisonment. Upon their release they 1 knocked about London for a couple of weeks and then stowed away on the Raranga for their return passage to New Zealand." Mr. F. K. It was said that stowaways were becoming a nuisance to the shipping companies who now had to employ a man to keep the unwanted "passengers" from hiding themselves on board. Turner claimed to be an Australian and Fitzgerald was a New Zealander. "Twenty-one days each," said the magistrate. The only other "passengers" that arrived by the Raranga were two pedigree dogs. A Gordon setter was consigned to a local police constable and a wire-haired fox terrier will leave the ship at Wellington; i
