PLUMBERS' DISPUTE. No agreement was reached yesterday afternoon in the Auckland plumbing dispute, and conciliation council proceedings were adjourned for a fortnight to enable further consideration to be given to the proposals of both parties. The terms of the employers' application for a new award were published yesterday, as was an outline of the union's counter-proposals. Mr. P. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, presided. Assessors for the employers were Messrs. S. V. Mcnzies, C. A. 'Peace, and R. R~ Wood, and for the union Messrs. J. Clark, H. T. Dickinson, J. E. Slattery, and C. E. Davies. Mr. S. E. Wright, secretary of the Auckland Provincial Employers' Association, acted as advocate for the employers.
