DROWNED IN PERU.

LONDON, June 14.
News has been received that Professor John Walter Gregory has been drowned in the Urubamba River, Northern Pern.
The professor was leading an expedition to study volcanic movements. London newspapers pay tributes to him for his scientific attainments and his explorations in Africa and Australia.
