MRS. I. SMITH.
A well-known resident of Paterangi, Mrs. Isabella Smith, died on June 13. She was the widow of Mr. James Smith. They came to New Zealand with a young family from Scotland about 30 years ago, and for 10 years lived at New Plymouth. The family then went to Hamilton, and shortly afterwards took a farm at Paterangi. The following family is left:— Mrs. G. Macmillan, Auckland; Mrs. G. Sadd, Wellington; Mrs. B. Johnson, Ngutunui; Mrs. Scott Macky, Paterangi; Miss A. B. Smith, Dunedin; and Messrs. Ralph Smith, Kiokio; Sidney Smith, Paterangi, and Keith Smith, Australia.
