MRS. DAVID GORDON.
Reference was made at the meeting of the Auckland Presbytery last evening to the death of Mrs. David Gordon, of Taihape, and the good work she had clone for the Church. A resolution of sympathy with the bereaved relatives was carried. Mrs. Gordon was a daughter of the Rev. James Killen, of the First Church, Cumber, Ulster. She was married to the Rev. David Gordon, minister at Conlig. In 1884 Mr. and Mrs. Gordon came to New Zealand, where they served the Church for 27 years. The, husband died in 10Ii>, and Mrs. Gordon later came to live with a daughter at Taihape. She is survived by the following children:—Mr. D. G. Gordon, of Taoroa, Mr. E. B. Gordon, of Marton, Dr. W. P. Gordon, of Stratford, Mrs. W. Mavvson, of Mount Eden, and Miss J. Y. Gordon, iof Taihape.
